VLA Pipeline 2025 items (for discussion; not yet prioritized)

  • items from 2024 that did not get completed, and:
  • improved refantignore heuristics:
    • phase jumps on refant
    • high delays on refant
    • DTS not flagged on refant
    • high flagging but still picked as refant (Drew Medlin suggests is so rare maybe we shouldn't bother worrying about it)

  • PIPE-2131 - Getting issue details... STATUS (high priority: for SRDP)

VLA Pipeline 2024 prioritization

Based on group discussion from 20 November, 2023. 

  • Highest priority overall, as this is seen fairly often; pipeline will crash if one calibration source gets fully flagged by flagtemplate or other mechanism:

  • Spectral line stuff (see list at VLA Pipeline page)
  • Different bandpass calibrators in different bands:

  • Option to disable bad deformatter flagging completely or partially:

  • Manual and automatic refant ignore do not work together:

  • Ability to use calibrator model (provided by user) in the pipeline
  • Allow all weblog links to open in a new tab (i.e. "middle-click" option)
  • Implement ability to click on points in plotms images in weblog to show metapoint for the selected data (as implemented by Eric Koch)
