- ngVLA may want that Data processing specifications to be generated along side the Observation specifications
- If a facility has capabilities that are observing types and computing types, then
- the DPO could live in the same allocation request as the OS.
- we ask the PI to declare their data products in the capability request then we use the algorithms to estimate the computing hours and make the DPO.
- if a facility is a computing facility vs an observing facility,
- then it would be separate Allocation Request within the proposal
