How to add a banner (MOTD) to the AAT-PPI website
In /home/ssa, create the file
aat-nmprod.motd
or
aat-nmtest.motd
with 774 permissions, as in
-rwxrwxr-- 1 jgoldste ssa 724 Nov 9 08:22 aat-nmprod.motd*
and it should just magically appear upon page refresh.
Do not mess with the splash screen (aat-nmprod.splash).
If you change a file by mistake, be sure to chmod 774
When you don’t want to display the MOTD anymore, you can change the name, delete it, or reset permissions to 774.
