  • Exact timing of spectral line pipeline/cal+img deployment
    • Mid-March to ensure most move time data is processed under the old system.
    • Pipeline should also be deployable on that timescale. 
  • QA-related pipeline requests in the "no flagging" era
    • Large image/cube mitigation.
      • Some mitigation already in the pipeline (16k images size and <= 5 spw imaged), but more probably needed.
      • B-config starts Sep 20, but will have VLASS so might not be too bad. Probably OK to get the mitigations in for the Fall pipeline release.
      • Ticket is in already.
    • High weights flagging.
      • Weigh pipeline heuristics development vs fixing the problem on the telescope or in CASA/statwt.

    • Options for cubes
      • 1" sampling
      • combine with SECI? (but would need awphpg working with full Stokes to be efficient).
    • Options for high ZD SECI 
      • awphpg plus GPUs from LCCF (~$10m??)
      • new mtmfs from cube with per-plane postition fixes.
    • Request QuartiCal style phase+delay cal (~200 fields will benefit).
      • Look into whether this can be done directly in the pipeline.
      • Unclear if amplitude self-cal is needed, this will be trickier to implement.
    • In contact with Texas TACC/LCCF for testing, initial allocation of 50k GPU hrs.
    • Purchase order for GPUs in.
    • AWP2 validation close.
      • Pull GPU node out of cluster for testing
    • Jeff setting up meetings on the DMS side.

  • VLASS pipelines - want to wait for 6.7 pipeline (Fall release) so we can get new gridders in. Would mean 4.1 cal and QL would run in 6.5.4.
