• Program Administration 
  • Amy and Mark talked with Ylva about SRDP and VLASS transitions to NM Ops.
    • NMOps will think about how best to go forward with SRDP for VLA pipeline after the transition in ~ 6 months (e.g. SRDP vs QA-assessed data etc). 
      • Knowledge transfer for needed for workspaces etc, some transition period would be ideal. 
      • Is there a plan for VLA pipeline dev. after the transition?
        • Not definite plan, will need to find someone in NM to do it, timescale uncertain. 
      • Punchlist for review 
    • VLASS transition will probably be a longer (1-2 yr) timescale given that much development work is  still needed (remote jobs/RADIAL, SECI-HPG pipeline, cube ingest etc).
  • Requested projects prioritization
    • Will raise issue of torque decommissioning at quarterly planning.
• Project Management
  • Lustre expansion in NM now scheduled for end of August. Improvements to lustre usage for WS helping, but disk space situation still needs to be monitored.

• VLASS
  • 3.2 observing and QL imaging going well (~97% B-config observed, 71% overall; 64% imaged)
    • VLASS ran up against its time allocation, needed to be increased to get the last few SBs observed
  • SECI QA and reprocessing continuing, 4330 images (24.6%) of 2.1 now done.
  • SSA Requested projects 
    • De-Torquing VLASS & messaging system upgrade; audit & cleanup scripts, QA notes
    • Delay SE ingest and remote cluster job running to next quarter.
  • 4th Epoch review 17th September

  • AWP2/GPU gridder testing status
    • New build of AWP2 out, Juergen testing for VLASS and Lillia for general use. Works in MPI CASA.
    • Should also be less bad at hammering lustre than old AWP.
• CIRADA
  • CIRADA requesting effort (as part of in-kind contribution) to help with catalogs since Biny is leaving. Assessing level of effort involved and how to blend it with the VLASS SE catalogs.
    • Can get pybdsf to work in Socorro, needs new install though?
    • DRAGN finder working in Cville, need to install in Socorro.
    • SOM stuff compiling in RHEL8.

  • ML at IAU next 2 weeks, heading to Socorro 10th-13th Sept.
