  • Lustre instability at DSOC
    • start ramping VLASS back up next week if stable.
• Program Administration
  • DA search status
    • Committee met, 10 candidates identified for zoom interview.
  • Relative priorities of VLASS items: QL cal/imaging, SE imaging automation, etc.
    • AR keen on automation. 
    • Important to keep up with QL for checking observations and QA automation working well (though tuning possible)
    • Need more SE cont. images for "training set", start these in the background, maybe ask DAs to take responsibility/leadership for specific tasks.
    • Cube production will need new version of the pipeline (which will have some rough QA in it to deal with bad planes). Earliest would be this summer.
    • SSG/CIRADA should be asked where we in the sky we should focus cube productionNeeds some thought, but one possibility would be to work on SE automation during the "lull" between B and BnA in April/May if we are not too far behind on QL.
  • Possibility of cross-training DAs between sites.
    • ML discussed with Erica, will have some effort available before the ALMA call (10th Apr), training to be arranged. More discussion needed.
  • DOIs for VLASS Memos (and other NRAO Memos), eventually for data collections too - discuss with library? 
    • ML discussed with Lance, library has no budget for 3rd party DOI assignment, and the URLs are "never going to change". AR will follow-up.
• Project Management
  • How to add capabilities ("SRDP 2.0") as part of the transition plan to operations.
    • What might we include? 
      • VLA polarization
      • Interactions with TTA tools+proposal database e.g. for cal strategies, spectral lines.
      • Should consult with users as to their needs.
  • VLASS-CIRADA agreement being revised, current agreement expires 31st March, revision will cover extension through Dec 31st 2025.

  •  Amy set up a meeting to discuss allocations of nodes, HTC/Slurm/Torque etc for 3rd March, 11am ET
