  • Imaging "superpilot" now imaging all SRDP VLA datasets
  • S-band inclusion
    • S-band fraction quite high, esp. including multi-band. Would be great to have a heuristic for compression, but might be hard to deal with the antenna exclusions,
    • Amy Kimball reports: small numbers = large percentages ?
      • Sep: of 132 CIPL, 18 SRDP compliant.  w/ S-band → 26 (45% increase)
      • Aug: of 274 CIPL, 52 SRDP compliant. w/ S-band → 78 (50% increase)
      • Jul:   of 182 CIPL, 64 SRDP compliant. w/ S-band → 76 (19% increase)
      • Jun:  of 215 CIPL, 75 SRDP compliant. w/ S-band → 109 (45% increase)
      • Summary: currently 26% SRDP compliant. w/ S-band increase to 36% SRDP compliant. (Non-compliance is largely due to use of 3C48, 3C138 as flux cal.)
  • Selfcal
    • initial timeline may have been too optimistic, possibly delayed until Q2 FY2023
    • Do we just wait for Fall in such a case?
      • Self cal would definitely improve VLA pipeline images, but mid-cycle release is also difficult..
