  • Amy organizing a VLA pipeline ops "SRDP futures" meeting Oct 2nd
  • Discussed Cville future node needs for SRDP with Catherine, Charlotte and SIS, will have 2 HTC (in addition to 3 Torque nodes) to cover ALMA restores, CARTA and SDM downloads. Will reassess needs next summer when AUDI moves from Torque to HTC.

  • Lustre upgrade completed, no new space available yet, disk space situation still needs to be monitored.

  • Pipeline status
    • In validation, aqua report did not make it but spectral line mode, theoretical sensitivities and self cal fixes did
  • SSA will begin work on combined cal+img in the next couple of weeks.
    • First backlog meeting this morning.
  • ESO radio ADP workshop in December - John, Amy, Mark? going, registration fee due.
• VLASS
  • 3.2 observing and QL imaging going well (~100% B-config observed, 76% of total 3.2 imaged, image delivery time halved compared to 3.1 and earlier)
  • Jeff K has budget for GPUs in FY25, need to discuss with K Scott etc which type we need.
  • SECI QA and reprocessing continuing, 4330 images (24.6%) of 2.1 now done.
  • 4th Epoch review 17th September
    • Draft talks sent to TB

    • slides to reviewers Sept 10th, review Sept 17th.
  • AWP2/GPU gridder testing status
    • New build of AWP2 out, significantly faster than previous version.
      
    • Still awaiting combined GPU/AWP2 package(?)
  • Trent's last day is next Friday, starting hiring process for replacement.

  • QL catalog moving to NRAO for epoch 3+; have pybdsf working in python 3 environment in Socorro now.

  • ML heading to Socorro 10th-13th Sept.
