  • SRDP project future
    • SRDP formally ends as a project 30th Sept 2024. Options (extremes...):
      • Extend (finish original scope, or maybe rescope based on user feedback)?
      • New project SRDP 2.0 (include some of unfinished original scope, add new initiatives like QA automation)?
      • Time box and handoff to Ops unfinished?
      • Discussion - still 2-3 yrs work for things we need like VLA spectral line, QA automation etc before operations transition. Could just be dev/ops though rather than a "project". Would probably want to revise the "definition of done" to move some things out of scope e.g. multi-config ALMA processing is a long-term project needing collaboration with the ALMA team. 
    • Not urgent, but maybe need to think about for LRP.

  • K Scott and Jennifer wrote memo for UPRM purchasing. Grad student from Texas Tech went to SIW, working on radio astronomy course. A University of West Indies student is training on data reduction, could work as a peer mentor to help RADIAL student in work-study program.
• Science Ready Data Products
• VLASS
  • 3.1 observations complete, >85% QL done.
  • Initial emphasis after QL done will be SE continuum for automated QA.
  • Need a way to accept and actually  archive be SE continuum and SE Cubes (not just cache them) → VLASS Dev meeting.
• CIRADA
  • Should discuss again with CIRADA/SSG if the in-kind work should be catalog serving given e.g. VIZIER service already exists. E.g. Have the HIPS, could improve that and have it count instead. Assuming they still want catalog service, John and Mark will write requirements, ideally including a TAP service for multi-object and scripted searches.
