News
- Program Administration
- DA search status Amy Kimball
- 29 qualifying applications, committee meeting next week. Will do a round of interviews then invite people for a site visit to whom we are likely to make an offer.
- Relative priorities of VLASS items: QL cal/imaging, SE imaging automation, etc.
- Needs some thought, but one possibility would be to work on SE automation during the "lull" between B and BnA in April/May if we are not too far behind on QL.
- Possibility of cross-training DAs between sites.
- Still would be useful to have some VLA training for NAASC DAs. Tony R said he would talk to Phil and Erica.
- DOIs for VLASS Memos (and other NRAO Memos), eventually for data collections too - discuss with library? - AI on ML to talk to Tony R and Lance

- Project Management
- How to add capabilities ("SRDP 2.0") as part of the transition plan to operations.
- RADIAL update
- From meeting with Jennifer - UPRM trying to work out how to deal with power issues, Morgan State working on their bid, also University of Virgin Islands. Likely all 3 can be funded.
- Science Ready Data Products
- Problems with VLA imaging halted the imaging for about 1 week. Traced to interaction between CASA memory checks and "glide-in" jobs. Two DSOC nodes moved to HTC (so now 3 non-VLASS HTC nodes). Issue with glide-in memory now resolved so imaging operations fully resumed.
- Amy will set up meeting to discuss allocations of nodes, HTC/Slurm/Torque etc.
- New NGAS settings for ALMA AAT jobs were not updated by SSA leading to a ~1 week of "silent failures" for ALMA/AAT downloads/restores.
- Emmanuel wants to make things more efficient for the DAs processing non-SRDP data
- Getting rid of CIPL and having everything go through workspaces
- Probably possible with WS2.9
- Considering not having DAs look at non-SRDP data at all (or at least a very minimalistic check)
- Some checks can reveal issues with the telescope though.
- Emails to users with regard to non-SRDP data would be automatic with workspaces?
- QA pass emails are sent for non-SRDP automatically, but not QA fail -

- VLASS
- AAS ABQ splinter session being planned.
- May need more than minimal IT support if we are doing demos etc
- SSG preparing Roman surveys input.
- 346 VLASS3.1 images archived so far. Latency ~20d.
- CIRADA QL Ep2 catalog available, also 1100 deg^2 SE catalog.
- Steve & CIRADA working on Enews article
- AAS ABQ splinter session being planned.
